Staying here in Confluence was a nice restful much needed break. The short 11 miles here was a great ride. There were more people on the trail from Ohiopyle to here and I’m guessing it’s the day trippers who are just riding this section.
our raft trip yesterday was a highlight and definitely an adrenaline rush. well worth the time invested to do it. The guides were very impressive with their knowledge of the River and played each rapid to its max. I have GoPro video to share later on this page.
we arrived at Confluence late afternoon and found our Air B&B that was not too far from town. Unloaded our bikes and had dinner at the Rivers Edge. It was a great meal in a great location along the Yough.
Today we head for Meyersdale, PA and the ride will be about 30 miles. So far it’s been adventure I never thought I’d do at this age.
Hard to believe but shortly after this video it was pouring down in buckets!
