Rambo e-bike Rebel
We struck out this morning on what is labeled as Trail 1 from the Xenia Bike Hub. Nice ride with barely any noticeable grade changes. Moved through Cedarville and past the Henry David Thoreau cabin model near the library. Riding through rolling fields corn, alfalfa and soy beans. Fresh smell of farm on every breeze some bringing back nostalgic notes of my youth working on grandad Darby’s farm. I rode on into South Charleston where a rail car sits with the big letters Pennsylvania RR in white on the side. A ride around town shows it’s grain industry is very much in evidence.
Day 3 we rode out Trail 2 towards Dayton, Ohio (I think it’s also called Creekside Trail). Nice grades till we had a detour through residential neighborhoods with a good bit of climbing and descending.
On day 2 Mark “Fish” and I rode from our home base to Springfield Twp north of Xenia. See my Strava page for the latest ride info. https://strava.app.link/8YaKMBK0VBb
Day 1
We’re back and another year “older”. Starting our first day riding out of Xenia we rode the Xenia-Jamestown Trail going 17 miles out into Fayette County and back to our home base for the we.

Something fun and maybe spooky.
Just got this mountain bike and decided to give a try on the trail. No mountain riding but I enjoyed giving it a run along the Sandy Creek Trail. Even did some exploring in an old train caboose.
